1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Atlas early access website, public beta, software, communications, and related services that link to this policy. In this policy, “Atlas,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Atlas project operated by Evan Uster.
Third-party websites, AI providers, and connected services have their own privacy practices. This policy does not replace their policies.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with Atlas, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Waitlist and contact information: your email address, signup source, referring page, submission time, and messages you send us.
- Account information: identifiers, settings, preferences, and authentication information needed to provide beta access.
- Content you provide: prompts, instructions, files, project information, feedback, approvals, and other material you choose to submit to the beta.
- Connected-service information: information needed to connect and use an AI provider or another service you authorize, including connection status, provider identifiers, and information sent to or returned by that service.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, operating system, dates and times, referring and exit pages, diagnostic information, logs, and interactions with the website or beta.
- Security information: information used to detect abuse, investigate incidents, enforce limits, and protect users and the service.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a task and you are authorized to provide it.
3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use the website or beta, from services you choose to connect, and from service providers that help operate or secure Atlas.
The early access form currently sends your email address, signup source, referring page, and submission time to a restricted Wix data collection.
4. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- manage the waitlist and provide access to the public beta;
- send requested access messages, service notices, product updates, and support communications;
- provide, personalize, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Atlas;
- route user-requested work to connected AI providers and services;
- protect Atlas, users, connected services, and the public from misuse, fraud, security threats, or unlawful activity;
- investigate complaints, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and resolve disputes;
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests; and
- create aggregated or de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual.
5. Consent and communications
When you join the waitlist, you consent to receive Atlas early access and product communications. You may unsubscribe at any time by using the link in an email or contacting us. We may still send non-promotional messages that are necessary to administer beta access, respond to you, or address security and legal matters.
You may withdraw consent to our processing where consent is the basis for processing, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing some features.
6. How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: to hosting, storage, communications, analytics, security, and support providers that process information on our behalf. Wix hosts the website and stores the waitlist.
- Services you choose: to AI providers, tools, or accounts you direct Atlas to use. The information required to complete your request may be sent to those services.
- Legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Business changes: in connection with a financing, reorganization, sale, transfer, or similar transaction involving Atlas, subject to appropriate protections.
- With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or otherwise authorize the disclosure.
7. Connected AI providers and services
Atlas is designed to coordinate services you choose. When you connect an account or direct Atlas to use a provider, that provider may receive prompts, files, instructions, account identifiers, or other information required to perform the task. Its own terms, privacy policy, retention practices, and account controls apply.
Review the settings and policies of every connected service. Do not connect an account or submit information unless you have the right and authority to do so.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Wix and other infrastructure providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to deliver, secure, and measure the website. Atlas does not currently place advertising cookies itself. If non-essential advertising or cross-site tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
You can control cookies through your browser, but blocking essential technologies may affect the website or beta.
9. International processing
Atlas and its providers may process information in Canada, the United States, Israel, or other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. When information is processed by a service provider in another country, it may be available to courts, law enforcement, or national security authorities under that country’s laws.
10. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing beta access, maintaining security and records, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Retention periods depend on the type of information, its sensitivity, the reason it was collected, and legal requirements.
Information may be deleted, aggregated, or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably needed. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. Access to waitlist data is restricted. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, or disclosed improperly.
If you believe Atlas or your account has been compromised, stop using the affected connection and contact us promptly.
12. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal information, ask how it has been used or disclosed, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or make a complaint.
To make a request, use the contact form on EvanUster.com and include the email address associated with Atlas. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may be retained when required by law or when an exception applies.
13. Children and young users
Atlas is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review these policies and consent to your use of the beta where required by law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Atlas develops or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when changes are made. If a change materially affects how previously collected information is used or disclosed, we will provide additional notice or seek consent when required.
15. Contact
Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy can be submitted through the contact form on EvanUster.com. Please identify the request as an “Atlas privacy request.”
